Arulmigu Sri Sudalai Maadan Religious and Charitable Trust appreciates every contribution made in support of its religious, temple preservation and charitable activities. As donations are voluntary contributions, they are generally considered final once successfully received.

Refund Eligibility

A refund may be considered in limited circumstances, including:

• A donation was made more than once due to a duplicate transaction.
• An incorrect donation amount was entered by mistake.
• A transaction was completed without the donor’s authorization.
• A payment was processed due to a technical or payment gateway error.

Refund Requests

If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact the Trust as soon as possible with your name, transaction details, donation amount, date of payment and reason for requesting a refund.

Submitting a refund request does not automatically guarantee approval. Each request will be reviewed individually.

Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, it will generally be returned through the original payment method wherever possible. Processing times may vary depending on the bank, payment gateway or other payment service provider involved.

Applicable payment gateway or transaction charges may be subject to the terms of the relevant payment provider.

Donations Already Utilised

A refund may not be possible where the donated funds have already been allocated or utilised for an approved temple project, charitable activity or other legitimate purpose of the Trust, subject to applicable law.

Project-Specific Donations

Contributions made towards a particular temple project will be used for the intended purpose as far as reasonably practicable. Changes in project circumstances, timelines or requirements do not automatically create an entitlement to a refund.

Failed Transactions

If an amount is debited but the transaction is shown as unsuccessful, the reversal may be handled automatically by the bank or payment service provider. Donors should first check their payment account and transaction status before submitting a refund request.
